The Lower Columbia women's basketball team put a tough league loss into the rear view mirror by racing past Highline 87-49 on Saturday February 8
th.

Two days after a road loss at Centralia, the LCC team was determined to get back on track and they did it with contributions from all the players.

Five Red Devils scored in double figures led by freshman post
Jodi Noyes who had 13 points on 6 for 8 shooting. Noyes also had five rebounds.

Freshmen guard
Chinedu Nnadi scored a college career high 12 points. Nnadi was 5 for 6 from the floor and she hit both of her three-point attempts.

Bailey Farrer and
Madison Mosier had 11 points each. Farrer was 5 for 7 from the floor including a make on her one attempt from distance. Mosier had four assists.

Josie Schmitz had 10 points, four rebounds and two assists.

Cherita Daugherty played just 14 minutes as the West MVP candidate cheered on the opportunities for her teammates. As is Cherita-style, she had five points, three rebounds and a team-high five assists.

Melenaite Kata looked good in the post with seven points and a team-high six rebounds.

The T-Birds were led by the 13 points of Kylie Lunday.

The Devils are now 7-2 in the West and 16-8 overall. LCC will travel to Olympia to take on the South Puget Sound Clippers on Wednesday February 12
th. The game time is 6 pm. The game will be played at the Evergreen State University Gymnasium.
