Josie Schmitz scored a college career-high 21 points to lead the Lower Columbia women's basketball team to a 79-58 victory over Pierce on Saturday January 25
th in Lakewood.

Schmitz was on fire as she hit 7 of 10 field goals attempts and was 5 for 7 from three-point range.

Madison Mosier scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.Â
Jodi Noyes also had 12 points and four boards.

Tommia Pakootas stayed hot from the outside as she hit 3 of 5 shots from long distance and scored nine points.

The Devils as a team shot 43 percent from the floor and 41 percent from beyond the arc.

Aivine Soakai had 15 points to lead Pierce.

With the win the Devils go to 5-1 in the West and 14-7 overall. It was the fifth straight league win after dropping the opener to Centralia.
