The Lower Columbia men's basketball team used an energetic first half to go on and beat the Grays Harbor Chokers 85-67 at Myklebust Gym on Saturday January 18
th.

Up 42-26 at the intermission, LCC staved off a couple of Grays Harbor rallies by outscoring them 43-41 in the second half.

Alexis Angeles was aggressive from the tip as he led LCC with 25 points. The sophomore transfer was 11 for 17 from the floor.

Samaad Hector stayed hot from the outside as he hit all four of his three-point attempts. Hector had 21 points, six rebounds and two blocks.

Travis Patrick was productive off the bench with 11 points and five rebounds. Starting point guard
Cody Young had 12 points, five rebounds and three assists.

The Devils shot 58 percent from the floor and 60 percent from beyond the arc.

Zyare Ruffin led the Harbor with 20 points.

The Devils go to 3-1 in West Region plays as they get ready to travel to Auburn for a game at Green River on Wednesday January 22
nd. Tip off is at 8 pm.
