Devils Depth Sinks The Clippers


It was 13 on 7 when the Lower Columbia women's team hosted South Puget Sound on Wednesday January 15th.
 
The Red Devils used those roster advantages in a 79-44 victory over the Clippers.
 
South Puget Sound played just seven players while the Devils sent waves of talent on to the floor.  LCC's bench outscored the entire Clippers team.  The Devils got 54 bench points versus just four for SPSCC.
 
Madeline Jacobson came off the bench to score 12 points.  The "Post From The Coast" (Ilwaco) did not miss a shot, going 6 for 6 from the floor.  Jacobson also had four rebounds and a block.
 
Tommia Pakootas provided instant offense, going 4 for 6 from the floor including 3 of 5 threes for a total of 11 points.
 
Asia Castillo also played well with 10 points, three assists and two steals.
 
Jodi Noyes was working well down low with 12 points, seven boards, two steals and two blocks.
 
Point guard Cherita Daugherty was all over the floor with six points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals.
 
LCC is now 2-1 in West Region play as they get ready to host the Grays Harbor Chokers on Saturday January 18th.  Game time is 5:00 pm.
