The Lower Columbia volleyball feels it's ready for West Region play.

The Devils closed out the pre-league season with a 3-0 sweep over the Olympic Rangers Wednesday September 18
th at Myklebust Gym in the Stoller Athletic Center.

The set scores were  25-23, 25-16 and 25-15.

It was the 25
th match prior to West play and LCC ran into a spirited Olympic team in the first set. The Devils had to hold off the Rangers in that opening set before they could take control the rest of the way.

Ashlynn Cantwell led the Lower Columbia effort with 11 kills and 11 digs.
Â
Kiana Scott had eight kills and
Camryn Wilson had seven kills to go with her 12 assists.

Every Red Devil played in the match and the team showcased its depth with contributions from all.

Now the real stuff begins.

LCC will open West play with a pair of home games. The South Puget Sound Clippers come to Longview for a 7 pm match on Wednesday September 25
th. The Pierce Raiders come to campus for a 7 pm match on Friday September 27
th.
