Devils baseball went 3-1 in their first four games of NWAC West play.
On March 30, LCC defeated the Centralia Trailblazers 15-0. The Devils banged out 15 hits and committed only 1 error.
Trevor Paro went 3 for 3 and
GJ Hurst and
Colin Floyd both went 3 for 4.
Mitch Lines got the win on 5 innings of work with 8 strike outs, 3 walks and only allowed 3 hits.
Rance Pittman came in the 5
th inning, striking out 4 with no hits in his 2 innings on the mound.
The Devils then traveled to Tacoma on March 31
st to face the Tacoma Titans. The Devils put the first run on the board in the 2
nd inning off a
Drew Barlow single, but that would be the only run that LCC managed to plate.
Tacoma answered with a run in the bottom of the 3
rd off a Justin VanDeBrak single. Then in the 6
th the Titans bats came alive, scoring 5 runs on 5 hits. The Devils were unable to take advantage of opportunities leaving 7 runners stranded in the games. Final score: Tacoma 7 LCC 1.

Next up for the Devils was a trip to Aberdeen on April 4 to play the Grays Harbor Chokers. Lower Columbia came out swinging, putting up 9 runs on 10 hits in a 9-1 win over the Chokers.
Noah Andrews went 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs,
Shane Jamison went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs and a walk,
Colin Floyd went 1 for 4, hitting a grand slam.
Kaden Vanderwerf was the winning pitcher putting in 5.2 innings.
The Devils finished out the week back at home vs the Pierce Raiders, a thrilling 13-inning, 1-0 win for Lower Columbia. Pitching for both teams was on point has the Raiders combined for 16 strikeouts, 2 walks and 6 hits. Devils pitchers

The play of the game came in the top of the 13
th when
Noah Andrews caught a fly ball in center field and fired a bullet to home where LCC catcher
Zach Threlfall tagged out Pierce's Austin Eisenmenger at the plate for the inning-ending double play. Andrews then hit the walk-off single to score
Trevor Paro from second in the bottom of the 13th.
The Devils will play the final single game of the season on Tuesday, April 9 at home vs the Green River Gators. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm. Saturday, April 13 LCC will play a double header at Centralia, 1:00 pm first pitch.
