The Lower Columbia baseball team got a clutch relief performance from
Michael Callia Jr., but the bats went silent in the second game as Tacoma and the Devils split a doubleheader on Friday April 19
th.

LCC won the first game 6-5.Â
Mitch Lines got the win but it was Callia who came on to shut down the Titans with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.Â

The Devils jumped out to a 6-1 lead before the Titans rolled four runs in the 7
th inning.
Â
Zach Threlfall had a big game with an RBI single and a two-run homer.
Noah Andrews was 3 for 4.

Justin Solt started well with two scoreless innings before running into control problems in the second game. He walked four and gave up five runs in 5+ innings.Â

Meanwhile, Tacoma starter Logan Gerling held the Devils down, allowing only four hits in the seven inning complete game. The final score was 5-0 Tacoma.

The two teams will get back together on Saturday April 20
th for a 1 pm doubleheader at Story Field.
