Six Red Devil sophomores played on the home floor for the final time and they made it a fun memorable night.

LCC defeated Highline 76-67 on Saturday February 23 rd to keep the Devils playoff hopes very much alive.

Bricin Ford led the way with 16 points.  The sophomore from Palmdale, CA got the start and missed just one shot on the night going 8 for 9 from the floor.  He also had eight rebounds and four blocks in a dominating performance.

Martis Johnson had 15 points and Samaad Hector had 12 points and nine rebounds.

The night belonged to the six sophomores.  Devonte Dennis had eight points.  Seth Hall scored nine with five boards.  Alec Canete-Hall had six points and 10 assists.

Dwayne Stewart played solid in his final home game as he had four points and two rebounds.  Zach Spink almost brought the house down but his two three's were just off.

LCC outrebounded Highline 50-32.

Mahlik Hall had 18 to lead Highline.

With the win, the Devils go to 7-6 in the West Region with one game to play.  The game will be Wednesday February 27 at Tacoma with game time at 8 pm.
