The Lower Columbia Red Devils and Pierce Raiders went back and forth for 90 minutes in an even match that ended even.

The match ended in a 0-0 tie on Saturday October 26th at Northlake Field in Longview.

The Devils seemed to be in control most of the match, out-shooting the Raiders 17-8.  But the Pierce defense would stiffen once LCC got in position to score.

Sadie Allen, Arianna Siuda and Elizabeth Aceveda all had two shots on goal each.

Lower Columbia got a solid performance from goalkeeper Presley McClung.  Normally a standout defender for the Devils, McClung came back from an arm injury to fill in for the injury riddled goalkeeping corps.  McClung had six saves among her clean sheet.

The Devils are now 2-11-3 overall and 2-7-3 in West Region play.  The final home match is Wednesday October 30th against the Bellevue Bulldogs at Northlake Field.  The action begins at 4 pm and prior to the game the seven LCC sophomores will be honored.

The final match of the season is Friday November 1st, a match against Green River that was postponed due to lightning earlier in the season. The game will be at 1 pm Friday at the Wilson Playfields in Kent.
