The Red Devils opened NWAC West league play with a 61-40 win over Green River on Wednesday January 9th.

It was a foul infested game with both teams shooting poorly.  There were 40 fouls called.

Nizhoni Wheeler led LCC with 25 points and 11 rebounds. 

Emily Packham added 12 points and three steals.  Kenya Lorton had 11 points and nine rebounds.  Shasta Lofgren scored eight with nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

Madeline Jacobson had four blocked shots for LCC.

Florene Jimerson led Green River, now 0-9, with 14 points.

The Devils will host league rival Centralia on Saturday January 12th.  Tip off at Myklebust Gym is 5 pm.
