Devils Regain Mojo With Win Over Tacoma

The Lower Columbia College men's basketball team was able to shake off the residue from a road loss to Highline by coming home and taking care of Tacoma 78-51 on Wednesday January 30th.

Samaad Hector led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points and 13 rebounds for LCC. It was the 8th double-double of the season for Hector.

Martis Johnson had a good offensive game as he hit 6 of 12 shots for 16 points. He also added five assists and two steals.

Travis Patrick hit 6 of 9 shots for 12 points, including a thunderous dunk with just under four minutes left in the game.

Bricin Ford also had a dunk earlier in the game and he was one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine boards.

Seth Hall made his return to the floor after missing two games due to illness. Hall scored eight points with six rebounds.

Louden Wardius also provide excellent energy off the bend with eight points and six rebounds.

Dwayne Stewart (elbow) and Devonte Dennis (ankle) both left the game due to injury.  They should have some time to heal as the Devils head into the bye this weekend.

The Devils go to 14-7 overall and 4-3 after the first round of West Region play.

Lower Columbia visits Green River on Wednesday February 5th with tip time at 8 pm.
