The Devils were on a 3 game win streak but the Highline Thunderbirds were determined to end that on Saturday, January 26, at Highline College. In total, the lead changed ten times but in the end, Highline came out on top with a final score of 79-65.

Devonte Dennis put LCC within 4 after a 3-pt shot at the 3:00 min mark. Unfortunately, that would be as close as the Devils would get as the Thunderbirds outscored the Devils 12-2 in the last 3 minutes.

LCC starter Seth Hall was out again and starting center Dwayne Stewart played limited minutes after sitting out the last game with an ankle injury.

LCC's shooting was a struggle; they were 38% from the free throw line compared to the Thunderbirds 87%. The Devils had 43% field goal shooting and were only 23% from beyond the arc.
 
Martis Johnson led the Devils with 19 pts and 7 rbs and Samaad Hector had 17 pts, 6 rbs and a block. Devonte Dennis had 9 pts, 4 rbs and 4 ast.   
 
Highlines top scorer was RJ Nelson with 18 pts.
