Devils Back Even In League With Win At Harbor

Seth Hall had a big game to lead the Lower Columbia College men's basketball team to a 77-69 victory at Grays Harbor on Saturday January 19th.

Hall hit 9 of 12 shots and scored a game high 28 points.  The sophomore was dialed in from long distance hitting 5 of 7 three-pointers.

The Devils had an 18 point lead at one point in the first half before the Chokers went on a run to close the gap.  The Devils led 36-25 at the intermission.  Lower Columbia took control in the second half and a late Choker rally wasn't nearly enough.

Bricin Ford and Samaad Hector were huge off the LCC bench.  Hector had 20 points and nine rebounds.  Ford contributed 18 points and seven boards.  Hector and Ford allowed LCC reserves to outscore the Grays Harbor bench players 43-12.

Playing under the weather, point guard Alec Canete-Hall had nine assists.

Jordan Garner led Grays Harbor with 16 points.

After starting league play 0-2, the Devils have won back-to-back games to even up the record at 2-2.  LCC has a huge home game against a South Puget Sound team that hit 19 three-pointers in a win over Pierce.

Tip off at Myklebust Gym is 8 pm on Wednesday January 23rd.
