The Lower Columbia women's soccer team got a big game from freshman Sierra Thornock in a 5-0 shutout of Grays Harbor on Saturday September 15th.

It didn't take Thornock long to get things going. Her goal at the 1:10 mark of the game gave LCC the early lead.  Kayla Willis assisted on the goal.

K. Willis then scored a goal at 8:46 on a Jessica Jude assist giving the Devils a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Thornock scored an unassisted goal at 48:15 and the Devils were on their way to a road victory.  Shelby Vermulen added an unassisted goal at 68'. It was Vermulen's team leading fifth goal of the season.

The Devils closed out the scoring on a Hailey Starnes goal at 81'.  Kalina Makaiwi got the assist.

Kennedy Werner and Erin Bentley combined on the shutout in goal.

The Devils get three points in the West standings.  The team is 1-2 in the division and 3-3 on the season.

LCC will take on Centralia Wednesday night at 7 pm at Tiger Stadium in Centralia.  The next home game is this Saturday against Bellevue. Start time at Northlake Field is 12 pm.
