The Devils went to Bremerton on Tuesday September 11
th and worked on their never-say-die attitude.

Lower Columbia swept a two-team double header with a pair of come-from-behind victories, 3-2 over Clark and 3-1 over Olympic.

Clark came out fast and went up 2-0 over LCC in the first match. The Penguins won 25-20 and 25-19.

That's when the Devils got moving. LCC took the third set 25-22 and then forced the decider with a 25-23 win. The Red Devils dominated the fifth set 15-5.

Megan Miller and
Cassidy Thompson led the way with 14 kills each. Thompson added 15 digs.Â
Paige Moorcroft was solid with 10 kills and 12 digs.

Karlie Hall led the defense with 22 digs and
Macey Wright had 43 assists.

The Devils also dug a hole against Olympic, but it wasn't as deep. The Rangers took the first set 25-22. Lower Columbia then came back and won back-to-back sets 25-18 and 25-15.

Olympic jumped out to a sizable lead in the 4
th set before Thompson went on a serving binge. She served eight straight points to put the Devils in control, eventually clinching the match with a 25-19 win.

Miller had 12 kills to lead the way. Thompson collected seven kills with 17 digs. Wright had 37 assists and 16 digs. Hall again was on the floor with 26 digs.

The Devil go to 11-3 on the season as they get ready to host an NWAC Cross Over tournament Friday and Saturday September 14-15 at Myklebust Gym.

LCC opens up at 2 pm against Big Bend, followed by Matches with Southwestern Oregon at 4 pm and Skagit Valley at 6 pm.

Bracket play is all day Saturday beginning at 8 am.
