Box Score 1 Devils volleyball season started off strong this weekend taking 5 of 7 matches.

The ladies got things going on Friday, August 24 at Mt Hood. The Devils defeated the Saints 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 34-32, 26-24). Megan Miller lead the Devils with 17 kills, Ashlynn Cantwell and Abby Brotherton each had 9 and Paige Moorcroft had 8. This was just the start for the Devils, from Gresham the Devils traveled to Eugene, OR for the NWAC Volleyball Fall Festival.

On Saturday, August 25, LCC won 3 of 4 matches, defeating Shoreline 2-0 (25-15, 25-22), Clark 2-1 (23-25, 25-17, 15-13), Whatcom 2-0 (27-7, 25-13). Their only loss of the day came against Walla Walla losing 2-0 (18-25, 19-25).
On Sunday, August 26, the Devils split the day defeating Mt Hood 2-1 (23-25, 25-16, 15-7) and dropping one to Spokane 2-0 (16-25, 25-23)

The Red Devils next match is their home opener vs Linn-Benton on Tuesday, August 28 at 4:00 pm
