The 2018 Lower Columbia College volleyball team played a match against competition for the first time when they hosted the LCC Alumni team on Monday August 20th.

The Devils won the match 25-12, 25-16 and 25-16.

The Alumni team started slow but improved every set.  The teams went on to play two additional sets and the former Devils actually won the 5th 15-12.

Coming back to Myklebust Gym was Rachel Fair, Jessy Marinetti, Katie Spears Munoz, Amanda Schwegler, Kylie Reinholdt,   Rachel Rahn Myers, Marnee Clancy, Sierra Holloway and Alexa Bond.

The Devils open the regular season Friday August 24th at Mt. Hood. The match is slated to begin at 4 pm in Gresham.  The Devils will then continue on to Eugene where they will take part in the NWAC Fall Festival. LCC will have six matches over Saturday and Sunday August 25th and 26th.
