Lower Columbia used a sizable free throw advantage to defeat Green River 80-68 on Wednesday February 7th.

The Gators kept fouling and the Devils hit 23 of 32 freebies.

Said Ali had a very solid game for Lower Columbia as he came off the bench for 17 points on 6-9 shooting.

Spencer Sweet led LCC with 23 points and nine rebounds.  Wesley Gilbert had 11 points and Brandon Cotton scored nine with five assists.  Donald Scott chipped in with eight points and seven boards.

The Gators kept hanging around and every time the Devils would get up by 10, the Green River team would whittle it to four.  But the fouls mounted on the Gators and the Devils hit the free throws to win going away.  Three Gators fouled out of the game.

The LCC team goes to 7-1 in the West Division as they return to the home court against Centralia Saturday February 10th. Game time is 7 pm.
