One of the key bench players for Lower Columbia was unavailable when LCC hosted Centralia on Saturday February 10th.
But the rest of the reserves stepped up big time. LCC's bench outscored Centralia's reserves 37-4 and it was a key to an 81-68 victory over the Blazers.
Donald Scott sat out the game while in concussion protocol. It became an opportunity for
Kyle Daugherty and he took advantage big time. Daugherty showed great fire and desire as he scored 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. His double-double came up big for the Devils.
Brandon Cotton led LCC with 19 points and four assists.
Spencer Sweet had 13 points.
The Devil big men got into foul trouble as
Dwayne Stewart and
Wesley Gilbert both fouled out.Â
Bricin Ford stepped up and contributed seven points, five rebounds and two blocks.
Lower Columbia goes to 8-1 in the West Region and 16-7 overall.
The Devils travel to Lakewood for an 8pm game against Pierce on Wednesday February 14th.
