It's always nice to check in at home.
Two Vancouver area stars playing for the Lower Columbia Red Devils put on a show in their old stomping grounds, leading the Red Devils to a dominating 97-72 victory over Clark on Saturday December 8th.
Former Prairie Falcon
Seth Hall hit 10 of 12 shots and scored 27Â points. Former Skyview Storm star
Samaad Hector had a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Although the Vancouver guys were quite comfortable on the Clark floor, it was a total team effort that avenged a loss to Clark a week earlier at the Spokane tournament.
Hector had 20 points at halftime as the Devils jumped out to a 49-40 lead. LCC then outscored the previously unbeaten Penguins 48-32 in the second half.
Another Prairie player set the tone with some early baskets as
Dwayne Stewart ended up with seven points.Â
Alec Canete-Hall had eight points and eight assists running the offense and getting the Devils favorable matchups all day long.
The Devils shot 58 percent from the floor and 62 percent from three point range.
Travis Patrick had five points and five rebounds. His resounding slam dunk in the second half closed the door on any kind of Penguin comeback.
The Devils are 6-2 on the season and will have a road game at Portland on Wednesday December 12th. Game time is 7:30 pm.
Lower Columbia will then take part in the NWAC Cross Over hosted by Chemeketa Friday through Sunday December 14-16 in Salem.
