In a match that came down to the very end in each set, the Lower Columbia volleyball team was swept by Highline on Wednesday October 31
st.

The Halloween clash between two teams tied for second in the West Region at 9-2 was close throughout. The set scores were 25-27, 23-25 and 21-25.

Untimely service errors and a .092 kill percentage sent the Devils back home despite a great effort that could have easily gone the other way.

Megan Miller led the Devils with 11 kills and
Ashlynn Cantwell had nine kills and 11 digs.

Macey Wright set things up with 30 assists and 14 digs.Â
Haley Paul also added 14 digs.

With the loss, the Devils slip to 9-3 in the West Region and Highline takes over second alone at 10-2. LCC's overall mark is 26-7.

Lower Columbia comes home for a big match against the first place (12-0) Pierce Raiders on Friday November 2
nd. First serve is 7 pm.

The Devils close out the regular season with a home match against Green River on Wednesday November 7
th. The five Red Devils sophomores will be honored prior to the Green River match.
