Lower Columbia soccer had a tough day on the pitch Saturday, October 13, as they traveled to Starfire field in Tukwila, WA to face the number 1 ranked Highline Thunderbirds.

The Thunderbirds out shot the Devils 22 to 3 getting their first goal at 2:34 mark, at the half Highline lead 3-0. The second half did not go much better for the Devils has the Thunderbirds added 5 more goals. 

Final score was Highline 8 Lower Columbia 0.

LCC goalkeeper Kennedy Werner had 14 saves on the day.

The Red Devils are currently in 4 place in the west and are 2 points behind the Tacoma Titans

The Devils will back at it on Wednesday, October 17, when the Green River Gators come to Longview. Kickoff is at 4:00 pm.
