The Multnomah University JV team knew it was going to be tough after several players left the team after the holiday break.

Tough indeed.

Multnomah led 3-0 before LCC scored 24 straight and went on to a 126-42 victory on Saturday January 6th.

Spencer Sweet led the way with 20 points and eight rebounds, but he was not alone.  In fact every available Red Devil scored.

Seth Hall had 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.  Donald Scott had 19 points and 12 rebounds.  Scott shot 8-10 from the floor.

Dwayne Stewart had 14 points and eight boards.

The Devils shot 58 percent from the floor and had a season-high 40 assists in the game.

Quinn Curry had 18 to lead Multnomah.

LCC was probably hoping for a better test to get ready for league play, but they will take the feel-good blowout to end non-division action at 8-6.

The Devils open West Region play Wednesday January 10th at Green River.  Tip time is 8 pm.
