Where there's a Ty, there's a way.
LCC sophomore forward
Tywanna Abbott scored 26 points to lead the Devils to an 89-40 victory over the Pierce Raiders on Wednesday January 17th at Myklebust Gym.
Abbott was aggressive and relentless as she continually got to the rack, shooting 11 for 19 from the floor. Just to keep the Raiders honest, Abbott also drained the lone three point shot she took. She also added seven rebounds and collected two steals.
It was far from a one person show.
Haley Niles had 19 points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots. Niles went 9 for 13 from the floor.
Kenya Lorton came off the bench for 12 points and six rebounds.
Nizhoni Wheeler had 10 points and seven boards.Â
Cherita Daugherty stuffed the box score with nine assists and five rebounds.
All nine Red Devils scored in the game. Lower Columbia also out-rebounded the Raiders 50-25.
The Devils go to 2-0 in the West Region, 12-6 overall.
