Was there anybody left in Adna, Washington on Saturday January 13th?

It sure seemed like the whole town was in Centralia to watch former Adna players play college basketball. The visiting Lower Columbia Red Devils have Shanay Dotson and Kenya Lorton.  The Trail Blazers feature Devanie Kleemeyer and Isabella Elwood.

On this night, Kenya and Shanay got the victory.

The Devils jumped out to a 27-7 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 74-47 victory.

Lorton led LCC with 20 points, hitting six of 10 three-point shots.  Dotson played suffocating defense and contributed 12 points.

The Devils forced 24 Centralia turnovers.

Tywanna Abbott had a strong game with 18 points on 8-12 shooting.

Majesty Claybrooks led Centralia with 13.

The Devils go to 1-0 in the West and will be at home Wednesday January 17th against the Pierce Raiders.  The tip off is set for 6 pm.  It's Red Canoe Credit Union Night as all RDCU members who show their debit or credit cards get free admission.
