Box Score It was unofficial Kalama night at Myklebust Gym on Wednesday September 13th.
There weren't too many Kalama volleyball fans that didn't come out to watch the Bellevue Bulldogs visit the Lower Columbia Red Devils.
Kalama is located five miles south of Longview. LCC has three former Kalama stars. But the Kalama alumni playing for Bellevue stole the show.
Averi Dyer had 23 kills to lead Bellevue to a 3-1 victory. Set scores were 25-20, 22-25, 26-24 and 25-21.
Dyer smashed any LCC hopes in the fourth set by dominating with several no-chance kills.
Khloe Clark, from Kalama, had 29 digs for LCC.Â
McKenna LaRoy, Kalama grad, had six kills.
Olivia Conradi, Kalama also, had 13 assists.
Megan Miller had nine kills,
Cassidy Thompson added nine kills and
Nina Bailey spiked eight.
Macey Wright led LCC with 19 assists.
The Devils finish non-league action with an 11-5 record. They hope the ultra-tough schedule will get them ready for league action beginning with Centralia at home on Wednesday September 20th. The match starts at 7 pm.
