The Lower Columbia College volleyball team began defense of their NWAC Championship by hitting the home floor for a scrimmage against the LCc Alumni squad.

Three members of the 2016 title team were on the other side as part of a competitive Alumni team.  The current Devils still took care of business and came away with a 3-1 victory.

Carri Smith's team gets ready to open the regular season with a non-league home opener against the Columbia Basin Hawks on Friday August 25th.  First serve is set for 1 pm at Myklebust Gym.

The Devils then head to Eugene, Oregon for the NWAC Fall Festival.  The tournament will feature games in Eugene and nearby Springfield.  LCC opens up with Clark Saturday at 9 am.  The Devils then play North Idaho at 2 pm.  Both matches are at the Wilamalane Complex in Springfield.

The Devils then play Walla Walla at 1 pm on Sunday.
