The LCC men's basketball team celebrated Sophomore Night by going out and beating Grays Harbor 88-76 on Saturday February 25th.
The win clinched another playoff berth for the Red Devils.
Freshman
Spencer Sweet led the way with 25 points, four rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Sweet hit five of seven three-point attempts.
Four of the six Red Devil sophomores honored before the game scored in double-figures.Â
Elijah Cotton-Welch had 18 points, six rebounds and eight assists playing for the final time at Myklebust Gym.
Marcus Lord had 14 points and five boards.
Devin Johnson just missed a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.Â
Keun Palu-Thompson did have a double-double as he scored 11 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and added seven assists for good measure.
Also playing at home for the final time,
Geordi Morrow had two rebounds and two assists and Naet Solomon had three assists and a steal.
Jim Roffler puts another 20 win season on his impressive coaching resume as the Devils are now 20-8, 9-4 in the West. LCC will close out the regular season at league-unbeaten South Puget Sound Wednesday March 1st in Olympia. Game time is 8 pm.
