It was a sweet homecoming for Red Devil freshman guard Madison Crews.

The Centralia HS grad stepped up big time in front of many family and friends as she hit four three-pointers in the 4^th quarter leading the Red Devils to a 53-49 victory over Centralia.

Crews heroics helped the Devils to stand alone on top of the West with an 11-1 record and a season sweep over the Blazers. Centralia drops to 10-2, both losses to LCC.

Crews had 12 points to lead LCC. Bailey Hockett also had a solid game as she hit three three's, scoring 11 points.  11 Red Devils scored in the game and LCC outscored Centralia 29-10 off the bench.

It was a grinder. The Devils had a two point lead after three quarters and never led by more than seven points.  But defense came through as they forced the Blazers into 20 turnovers and held them to 30 percent shooting.

Madison Lord did a great job on the boards with 14 retrievals.

Brianna Zaragoza-Jones led Centralia with 15 points.

LCC will play its final home game this Saturday February 25^th against Grays Harbor.  10 Red Devil sophomores will be honored prior to the game which is set to tip off at 5 pm.
