The Lower Columbia women's basketball team took care of business early in a 72-36 victory over Green River on Wednesday February 15th.
The Devils raced out to a 23-9 lead after one and then continued to drop the hammer by holding the Gators to single figures in three of the four quarters.
The Devils have won eight straight games and remain tied with Centralia at 9-1 atop the West Region.
Tywanna Abbott led the Devil scoring with 15 points including 5 for 6 at the free throw line. The freshman from Hawaii also pulled down seven rebounds.
Madison Lord had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.Â
Madison Hinrichs had 10 points, four caroms and four assists.

Faye Chartraw who was home to be with family while mourning the recent loss of her mother Crystal.
Jenny Westlund was a highlight of the reserve brigade as she hit two three's and scored six points.
LCC will be at Highline for a 12 noon start on Saturday February 18th. The team can't afford to look past the T-Birds as they get ready to take on Centralia Wednesday February 22nd.
