The Lower Columbia women's basketball team had a tough shooting afternoon and thus they will not be coming back with the Everett tournament championship.
The Red Devils shot just 34 percent from the floor and an icy 10 percent from distance in a 70-60 loss to Spokane on Friday December 8th.
LCC was just 2 for 20 from beyond the arc.
The Sasquatch jumped out to a 14-8 lead after one quarter and that turned out to be advantage they would hold on to for the rest of the game.
Nizhoni Wheeler led LCC with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Tywanna Abbott added 15 points with six boards.Â
Shanay Dotson had 12 points and seven caroms.
Kenya Lorton scored 10 points with eight rebounds and four assists.
The Devils will try and stay alive in the tournament when they take on the loser of the Skagit Valley versus Southwestern Oregon game. Saturday's game will be at 2:00 pm.
There will be no live video feed of Saturday's game.
