For seven quarters at the Everett women's tournament, the Lower Columbia College team was waiting for the offense to wake up.
Eight quarter was the charm at the Walt Price Activity Center on Saturday December 9th.
LCC outscored Southwestern Oregon 32-19 in the fourth quarter to rally for an 85-75 victory in a loser out game.
Kenya Lorton scored 32 points to fuel the victory. The freshman from Adna also had four steals, four boards and three assists.
Tywanna Abbott also had a big game with 18 points and seven rebounds.
LCC was down 56-53 at the end of the third quarter as SWOC was able to hold off LCC for three quarters of the game. Jessica Matheson led the Lakers with 35 points.
Madison Crews had 13 points and six rebounds.Â
Nizhoni Wheeler also had the same line with 13 points and six rebounds.

Hayley Niles of LCC collected 18 boards to go along with six points.
The Devils stay alive to play on Sunday where they will take the floor for 12 pm game.
