The Lower Columbia College men's basketball team closed out the year with a 96-56 home victory over the Clark Penguins on Saturday December 30^th.
 
Spencer Sweet had 20 points to lead the way as LCC led from start to finish.
 
Wesley Gilbert had 19 points and seven rebounds.
 
Said Ali had a solid game for the Devils as he scored 12 points. 
 
The Devils came out firing in the first half, shooting 52 percent and claiming a 39-25 lead at the break.
 
Also contributing to the victory was Bricin Ford with 13 points and six rebounds.
 
Zach Spink scored a college career high with nine points, including 3 for 4 from long distance.
 
LCC goes to 7-6 on the season and they have one more game before West Region play.  The Devils will host Multnomah University in a 3 pm game on Saturday January 6^th.
 
The league opener is Wednesday January 10^th at Green River.
