The Lower Columbia men's basketball team is pretty good at digging holes.  They have also showed they are also good about climbing out of holes.

The hole was too deep on Sunday December 10th.

Southwestern Oregon defeated the Red Devils 98-90 on the final day of the Dale Bates Tournament in Eugene.

The Lakers were up by 16 at halftime, but the Devils rallied and got within two. SWOC was able to hold on for the victory.

Brandon Cotton had a great game for LCC. The sophomore from Tacoma had 27 points, six rebounds, eight assists and no turnovers.

Kyle Daugherty scored 14 points with five boards.  Donald Scott added 12 points and five rebounds.

Alec Canete-Hall got his first start of the season and had eight points and three assists.

Skyler Bradford led the Lakers with 25 points.

The Devils have a few days to try and sort out the difficult starts that have made things difficult recently.  LCC opens up the Wenatchee Cross Over tournament Friday December 15th against the host Wenatchee Valley team at 7 pm.

Lower Columbia is 5-4 on the season.
