Down five at halftime in front of the home fans for the first time, the LCC women's basketball team trusted the process and went on to beat Linn Benton 70-54 on Tuesday November 28th.
Sophomores
Tywanna Abbott and
Shanay Dotson fueled to effort. Abbott had an LCC career-high 20 points with nine rebounds and two steals. Dotson filled the boxscore with 16 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
Down 28-23 at the intermission, the Devils outscored the Roadrunners 47-26 over the final two quarters.
Kenya Lorton had 10 points, three assists and three rebounds in her first game at Myklebust Gym. Fellow freshman
Nizhoni Wheeler had nine points, eight rebounds and two steals.
Sophomore
Madison Crews played all-phases well as she had six points, five rebounds and seven assists.

Hayley Niles had six points and seven rebounds.
Madeline Oakden led the Roadrunners with 16 points.
LCC is 3-1 and will make the short trip to Vancouver to play the Clark Penguins on Thursday November 30th. Tip time is set for 6 pm.
