Devils Back In First With Win Over Harbor

The Lower Columbia College volleyball team regained a share of first place in the West Region after a 3-1 victory over Grays Harbor on Friday October 27th.

LCC got the help it needed when Centralia upset Pierce.  Both LCC and Pierce are 9-2 in league, although the Red Devils have a win in hand over the Raiders.

Against Grays Harbor, the Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the Chokers won a close set three. LCC then collected themselves and won the 4th set and the match.

The set scores were 25-20, 25-22, 27-29 and 25-16.

Cassidy Thompson had 11 kills and eight digs to lead the Devils.  As always, Nina Bailey brought energy and talent with eight kills, seven digs and four blocks.

Megan Miller also had eight kills.

The back row was led by Khloe Clark with 19 digs.  The double-threat setting duo of Macey Wright and Olivia Conradi combined for 44 assists. Wright had 26 and Conradi 18.
