It was a slow start and a hot finish.

Falling behind 9-0 and then 13-2 at Green River Wednesday January 18th, the Devils rallied back into the game and then slammed the door for an 80-63 victory.

LCC shot 77% percent in the second half, missing just five of 22 shots in the period. Leading the way was Keun Palu-Thompson who scored a game-high 28 points. Palu-Thompson was 10 for 15 from the floor with nine rebounds and seven assists.

Spencer Sweet had 15 points including an emphatic second half dunk that deflated the Gators.  Sweet was fouled on the play, but also was called for a technical.

Devin Johnson was in double-figures with 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists.  Marcus Lord had nine points and six boards.  Nate Solomon added eight points and Elija Cotton-Welch had seven.

The Devils were down one at halftime but outscored the Gators 55-37 in the second half.

Lower Columbia sits on top of the West Division at 3-0. The Devils host Highline Saturday January 21st. The tip off is slated for 7 pm.
