The #1 ranked Lower Columbia Women's team found out that teams are going to bring its best every time out.

The Tacoma Titans proved they are talented and inspired in their new facility as they held off a furious Devil rally for a 67-62 victory on Saturday January 14th.

LCC got down 14 at one point but applied the pressure down the stretch to get within three. But the Titans hit free throws in the end and collected the victory.

Bailey Hockett had a fine game for the Devils with 15 points on 6 for 7 shooting.  She also had four steals.

Faye Chartraw was the only other double-figure scorer for LCC with 14 points.  Madison Lord had nine points. Madison Hinrichs had six points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Bobbi Westerndorf led all scorers with 21 points for Tacoma including the clinching free throws.

The Devils will try and bounce back Wednesday January 18th when they take on the Green River Gators in Auburn.  Tip off is set for 6 pm.
