The three balls were falling as the Lower Columbia women's basketball team defeated Green River 69-58 on Saturday February 13th in Auburn.
LCC hit 14 of 33 three-pointers for 42 percent. Leading the long distance display was
Nesija Selava who hit 5 of 6 threes on the way to a team-high 15 points.
The Devils got great production of the bench as the LCC reserves outscored the Gator subs 29-4.
Faye Chartraw had 14 points and six rebounds. Katerin Brejchova scored eight, pulled 11 and dished three. Red Devil leading scorer
Katie Hankins was held to just four points, but she cleaned the glass for 11 rebounds.
Samantha Boyce scored eight,
Bailey Hockett had seven and
Carissa Cannon scored six.
Alexis Gleason led Green River with a game-high 23.
The Devils are now 10-0 in league, 18-8 overall.Â
LCC is riding a 10 game win streak as they return home to face the Highline Thunderbirds on Wednesday February 17th. Tip time is 6 pm at Myklebust Gym.
