It was a tough shooting night for the LCC women's basketball team as they hit just 29 percent of their shots.  But they got the 51-49 victory at Tacoma on Wednesday February 10th.
 
Although not a thing of beauty, it's all about the wins this time of year and LCC keeps its West Region record intact at 9-0.  The Devils have won nine straight games.
 
Leading 31-20 at the half, the Devils let their guard down in the 4th quarter allowing Tacoma to make a game of it.
 
Katie Hankins had eight points, eight rebounds, four steals and four assists to lead the way.
 
Mireya Villanueva led the Red Devils scorers with nine.  Samantha Boyce had eight points.
 
Katerina Brejchova led LCC rebounders with 11. She also had five assists and three steals.
 
The Devils are 9-0 in league, 17-8 overall, as they head to Auburn to play Green River on Saturday.
