Madison Crews had a breakout game for the Lower Columbia women's basketball team as she scored a college career-high 20 points in the Red Devils 68-50 win at Portland on Wednesday December 7th.
Despite the 18 point win, most of the Red Devils agree that the team is still away from its potential. 21 turnovers will lead to that thinking.
Crews was tremendous as she hit eight of 10 shots including four of six from long range. The freshman from Centralia also led the Devils with six rebounds.
Tywanna Abbott had nine points and
Madison Hinrichs added seven.Â
Carissa Cannon and
Faye Chartraw had six each.
LCC continues to work on its pressure game and they forced the Panthers into 24 turnovers. The Devils scored 31 points off the Portland miscues.
Lower Columbia is now 4-1 on the season as they head to Everett for the Trojan Classic this weekend. The Devils open up with Spokane Friday afternoon at 2 pm.
