The Lower Columbia volleyball team recieved a stern test on Friday October 28th.  The Tacoma Titans battled LCC to a fifth and deciding set, but the Devils dug deep and came away with a 3-2 victory.

It was the 10th straight NWAC West victory for LCC. The Devils remain in first place at 10-1, one game ahead of second place Highline at 9-2.

The set scores against Tacoma were 25-18, 24-26, 25-19, 18-25 and 18-16.

Kallie Schmit had a huge night with 32 kills and a .400 attack percentage.

Rachel Erickson had 18 kills and eight digs.

Khloe Clark led the team with 26 digs and Haylee Savage set it all up with 51 assists.

Jessy Marinetti had six blocks to lead LCC in that column.

The next match could very well decide the West championship as Highline comes to Myklebust Gym on Wednesday November 2nd.  The Devils beat the T-Birds on their home floor back on October 5th.  The start time for Wednesday's epic clash is 7 pm.
