Down one point at halftime, the Lower Columbia men's basketball team dominated the second half and beat Green River 74-59. LCC goes to 3-0 in the West with the victory.
The first half featured 11 lead changes with both teams battling toe-to-toe. But it was a 12-2 run in the second half that fueled the Devils to the win.
Jared Roffler put a bow on top with an open court slam dunk in the final minute. Roffler had 10 points and six rebounds.
Leading the way was
Lawrence Russell who had 19 points and six boards.
Devin Johnson was solid inside with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Kyle Bobo had seven points and six assists.Â
Keun Palu-Thompson added nine points and three assists.
Marcus Harris had a red hot first half for Green River, scoring 19 of his 22 points in the first 20 minutes.
The Devils will hit the road for the next two games. They will play at Highline Wednesday January 20th with the tip off at 8 pm.
