The Lower Columbia women's basketball team clinched at least a tie for the West Division crown with an 82-43 victory at Tacoma on Saturday February 21st.

The Devils got off to a fast start, committing just one first half turnover as they built a 30 point halftime lead. LCC finished with just six turnovers in the game.

Tamar Rodrigues and Katie Hankins were perfect shooting the ball. T-Rod hit all six of her shots icluding two three's on the way to 15 points and seven rebounds. Hankins was also 6 for 6 from the floor, including her first three of the season.  Hankins had 13 points and six rebounds with four assists.

Kaylea Knox scored 11 points with four steals.  Sierra Richards had 12 points and five assists from the post. Every Red Devil scored in the game.

With the win, the Devils raised the league mark to 14-0 and 21-7 overall.  LCC has won 14 straight games.

The streak will be tested on Wednesday February 25th when the Devils travel to Centralia to take on the second place Trail Blazers. Game time is set for 6 pm. The Devils close out the regular season at home on Saturday February 28th with Sophomore Night against the Grays Harbor Chokers. Game time is 5 pm.
