Devils Down Raiders, Streak Up To 13

The Lower Columbia women's basketball team kept the league mark perfect with a 77-60 victory over Pierce on Wednesday February 18th.

Kaylea Knox had 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals to lead the way.

Sierra Richards scored 14 points. Donniesha Webber had 11 points, six boards and three assists.  Katie Hankins added 11 points and six rebounds.

LCC led by 14 at halftime, but the Raiders hung around and challenged in the second half.

With the win, the Devils go to 13-0 in West Region play and 20-7 overall.  LCC has already clinched an NWAC tourney berth.

The goal is to continue to take care of business for the next three games, Saturday at Tacoma, next Wednesday at Centralia and the regular season finale at home against Grays Harbor on Saturday February 28th.

Saturday's game at Tacoma will tip off at 2 pm and will be heard live on AM 1490 KLOG. The game will be heard onj the internet at klog.com.
