The Lethbridge College Kodiaks, out of Alberta, Canada defeated the Lower Columbia Red Devils Wednesday, December 30 with a score of 65 - 59.

The Devils played strong and even had a two point lead at the half but Lethbridge came out strong in the third period outscoring the Devils 24 - 13. The Devils tied it up in the fourth but where unable to hold on.

Katie Hankins led the Devils with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Keahi-lele Roy had a great game with 14 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. Faye Chartraw put up 9 points and pulled down 5 boards. Bailey Hockett came off the bench for the devils scoring 7 points with 4 boards and 2 assists. 

For the Kodiaks, Sunder West lead the way with 24 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists. Emma Lowry had 18 points and 9 rebounds.

The Lady Devils start league play on Saturday, January 9 at Pierce College. Tip off scheduled for 5:00 pm.

The North Idaho College Cardinals and the Umpqua Community College Riverhawks played for the Tournament Championship today also. North Idaho came out strong and never let up as they defeated Umpqua 81-50.

Shelby Cloninger lead the Cardinals with 26 pts, 7 rbs, and 3 ast. Cloninger was named the MVP of the Tournament. Joining her on the All-Tournament team was fellow teammate Stormy Van Belle who had 15 pts, 8 rbs, and 3 ast in the championship game.

For Umpqua, Anna Mumm had 18 pts and 7 rebounds. Sawyer Kluge put up 13 pts with 7 rbs and 3 ast.
