The Lower Columbia women's basketball team was a winner on the opening night of the Lower Columbia Holiday Classic on Monday December 28th.
The Devils defeated the Whatcom Orcas 89-56. LCC shot 45 percent and also had just 12 turnovers.
Katie Hankins led the way with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Carissa Cannon also had 16 points on 7 for 11 shooting.Â
Faye Chartraw contributed 11 points and six rebounds and Lexie Turner also had 11 points. Turner made all three of her three-point attempts.
