Nearing the 80 minute mark and battling back and forth with Pierce in a scorless duel, the LCC women's soccer team suddenly had to process a tough 1-0 loss to the Raiders.

The Devils and Pierce went toe-to-toe on Wednesday September 30th at Heritage Park in Puyallup.  The Devils outshot the Raiders but it was Tayler Vandyke's goal at the 79th minute that gave Pierce the 1-0 victory.

Red Devil head coach Harlan Cruser lauded the defensive play of Shannon Campbell. He was also proud of his team despite not cashing in on a couple of golden opportunities to score a goal.

The Devils are now 1-4 in West Region action, 3-7 overall.

The team steps out of divisional play to host the Chemeketa Storm on Saturday October 3rd. The match begins at 12 pm at Northlake Field in Longview.
