The LCC women's basketball team hit 15 of 31 three-pointers in a 69-57 win over Highline on Wednesday January 7th.

Kaylea Knox and Amanda Britt were the leading marksmen.  Knox hit six of 11 3's and scored 24 points to lead the way. Britt hit six of nine 3's off the bench for 18 points. The rest of the scoring was balanced and plenty of Devil contributed. LCC had 33 points off the bench opposed to 18 for Highline.

Sierra Richards led the Devils with 12 rebounds, although she was held scoreless for the first time this season. The sophomore post who is having a monster season was 0 for 3 from the floor and 0 for 4 at the free throw line.

Donniesha Webber had an off shotting night, but she came up clutch with two big three's down the stretch. She also had six rebounds.

Katerina Brejchova had seven rebounds and six assists for LCC.

The Devils go to 2-0 in the West Region and will host Clark Saturday afternoon, 1 pm game time at the Mark Morris Gymnasium. The start time was moved from the original late afternoon tip-off.
