Michael Dupree was the man at Grays Harbor
DUPREE'S GAME WINNER CLOSES REGULAR SEASON
Michael Dupree hit a shot in the lane with 0.4 seconds left to give the Lower Columbia men's basketball team an 86-84 victory at Grays Harbor Saturday February 22nd.
Dupree's heroics closed out the regular season on a high note as the Devils are going to the NWAACC Championships riding a four game win streak.
Dupree had 17 points to lead LCC, while
Jeremy Burright had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Cameron Howell scored 12 points and Austin Trafalet had 10 points and six rebounds.
LCC closed out the regular season with a 9-7 league mark, good for 4th in the West Region. LCC's overall record is 11-14.
The Devils will be making thier NWAACC-record 36th appearance in the championship tournament. LCC will take on the South #1 team, the Portland Panthers, making its first-ever championship appearance.
The LCC-Portland game will be at 8 pm Saturday March 1st at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.
